Legendary attraction expert and The Alabaster Girl author Zan Perrion talks about one of the keys to start talking to, flirting with, and attracting women that many men miss.
Editor’s Note: This post was originally published in May 2016.
Zan talks about the importance of “showing up” with women.
The first level of failure to show up is wishing you had a girlfriend or a dating life but not truly doing anything about it, taking action, and actually walking up to women to meet them.
If you’re consistently doing that – being proactive and starting interactions with women – and you’re still not having the success you want, then you’re not showing up as the true, most authentic version of yourself. You’re putting on a fake persona, whether you’re aware of it or not – trying to look cool, hide your true emotions and thoughts, filtering what you say instead of just saying what’s really on your mind, etc. (See the related videos below for how to “own” your nervousness and show up authentically in the midst of it.)
There are manipulative, insecure, angry women out there just like there are for men. There are plenty of awesome women who love men out there, so you’re best-served focusing on finding all those women.
Zan Perrion (Ars Amorata) has never identified with the PUA (“pickup artist”) scene, but he was first made famous when Neil Strauss ignored that and wrote about him in “The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists” anyway. Zan is a coach, speaker, and author of The Alabaster Girl.
