Nope! Nothing I did turned them on, and especially not the woman I was most drawn to in the community. If anything, I repelled the women. They liked me as a friend, but nothing more. That was super frustrating.
To pile on top of that, a guy, Daniel, moved in. He was an ex-con, fresh out of jail, on parole, with no money.
Can you guess what happened?
He started attracting all the girls in the community! He was the definition of a bad boy, and all these spiritual girls were all over him…including the girl I liked. Ugh.
At first I hated him, but then I realized he had the keys to what I wanted – to being great with women – so I swallowed my jealous ego and decided to move in with him so I could study him and learn from him.
I studied him closely, watching it all unfold, and also got my hands on all the dating advice books I could find.
And in spite of his finances, he would date woman after woman off Craigslist while I couldn’t get a date to save my life. At first, I thought he was such a jerk to women. He would tease them. He would piss them off and not give them what they want. But they were all over him, and even when they’d get really mad at him, they’d come back around.
But I was seeing his behavior all from my extreme “nice guy syndrome,” and over that year, I started to understand what was really going on and where I was going wrong. My teachings have come a LONG way since that, but Daniel was really the catalyst who began all my growth and personal development as a man overall.
